I’ve talked recently about the Tokaido App, and before about Tsuro. The way they’re calm games which are interesting yet relaxing. I don’t know what it is about games starting with the letter ‘T’ but I’d put Tatsu in the same box.
Recently I’ve gotten into playing Tokaido before bed.
I reckon I think about this game a hundred times a day at the moment (which is probably a conservative estimate).
Spot It! (the exclamation mark is important) is one of those games it’s easy to dismiss at first.
I’d heard so many positives about 7 Wonders Duel I was so excited to give it a go. So today I thought I’d glance at it and let you know my views.
Cards on the table (self-high-five for the pun), I would never have bought Dutch Blitz. In fact when Gateway to Games suggested sending it to me I told them it wasn’t my sort of thing.
Why do I love cooperative games? Is it working together with my friends? Sure. Is it how the theme usually comes through more in coop games? Yeah. But mostly - it's the challenge.
When I say Unlock is an experience, I am in no way being metaphorical.
Every now and then you find a game which just clicks. It clicks with how you think, how you play. For me, the game which clicks is Quantum.
